Information We Collect at Indian Chat Rooms

We provide users an opportunity to create their profiles or chat without registrationg therefore the data we collect includes, but is not limited to the following:

Automatically collected information: We do retain information about nicknames, IP address, browser type, device type, language settings, etc.

Cookies and tracking technologies: For analytics or chat enhancement we gather and store the usernames during active chat sessions and afterwards within a strong and securely encrypted database with MD5 encryption enforced.

Chat content: The main chat is stored temporarily within the database and removed afterwards, however this data is retained for the brief time to monitor for abuse/spam. Private chats are also stored within the database to allow the spam filters to display any or potential spam/linking attempts, however these private chats are "private" and not readable by admins within the chat room unless a filter has been applied or your chat is being reported by the other person for moderation.

Audio/Video data: The Audio and Video data at Indian Chat Rooms is processed peer-to-peer via WebRTC and is not stored on the server at all, thus making the audio/video calls at ICR (Indian Chatrooms) very private and secure.

How We Use Your Information

We do store and use your information for quality and assurance purposes, and the data stored is NEVER shared with 3rd-party organizations for any reason.

To provide chat functionality to our users and gather feedback to enhance their user experience.

> The chat logs are stored for 30 minutes within our databases securely with RSA and MD5 encryption enforced and are accessed securely with an active SSL Certificate installed on the server as well as the website at all times.
> The nickname(s) and IP address(es) are stored in a secure database separately with MD5 encryption for 30 days and are auto-deleted after inactivity of 30 days per each nickname. If a nickname remains active within the chat room, their data is retained unless they either request account deletion or become inactive for 30 days or more.

This is how our Privacy Policy looks at this time, but it may change and users should check periodically to stay updated with the current policies of our Indian Chat Room. ICR (Indian Chat Rooms) are not responsible for notifying every user regarding policy changes and users should check accordingly to ensure they are staying up-to-date.
